The Short Version

You own any data you send us, and can ask for it be removed, reviewed or changed. We store the data you send us securely and don't store any data on you other than what you provide. We will aim to respond to any requests within 7 days, though as the plan is to publish the stories sent to us, we will not be able to make changes past a certain point ahead of printing.

The Slightly Longer Version

Any data you provide us through the submission form on our website will be stored securely in a database that we manage. We need to store this data so that we can read it and maybe even publish it. We're not storing any information on you that you don't intentionally provide. We only store the data you choose to provide.

You can also request any information you've sent us to be deleted from our records by emailing [email protected] with your name and your request and we'll remove it within 7 days. However, as the intention here is to publish your stories and our findings in a printed book, we are unable to remove any submitted information within a reasonable timeframe of publishing. So we ask that you request your data to be removed within 6 months of sending it to us. However if we can remove your data ahead of publication, we of course will.

If you would like to review any data you've submitted to us at any point, please email [email protected] asking to do so and we'll aim to get back to you within 7 days of your request. If you would like to update or change any information you've sent us, we will also allow this within a reasonable timeframe of publishing.
